Choose the view that fits the work
Service status, logs and file edits can be exposed through shell tools and Commander panels. A graphical business application may require remote desktop access. The interface should describe its capabilities accurately.
DSDillon Commander is an infrastructure workspace inside DSDillon Terminal. Its panels share the selected server with the SSH session. Screen streaming and pointer control require a separate integration.
Keep product names and protocols clear
The independently developed Desktop Commander MCP product exposes file and terminal tools to AI clients. Its remote service uses a paired device and an authorized connection. Apache Guacamole supports SSH, RDP and VNC through a browser gateway.
Describe the intended session
Specify the controlled computer, operator, attended or unattended access and required actions. File transfer, clipboard sharing and recording need individual decisions.
Demonstrate one command task and one visual task. That establishes which modules can share a session and which require another transport.
Before you begin
Does DSDillon Commander stream a remote screen?
The documented implementation provides infrastructure panels and terminal tools. Graphical remote desktop access is separately scoped.
Is it the third party Desktop Commander product?
No. DSDillon Commander is part of DSDillon Terminal. The independent product is identified separately in comparisons.
