Trinidad & Tobago Business Registration Readiness Tool
Turn your registration route and current stage into a practical filing plan: people to coordinate, documents to confirm, outstanding fees and the next unresolved steps.
Prepare a checklist without entering names, identification numbers, account PINs or application documents. Inputs are held in this page’s memory. The tool does not file anything with the Registry.

People to coordinate: The individual proprietor.
02 / Your action plan
Resolve the next dependency
Choose your route, mark the steps you can document and identify fees already paid. The plan will separate open tasks, named role owners, government charges and any professional quote you enter.
Fee sources checked 12 September 2026. New non-profit-company figures use the Registry’s dated August 2025 guide, whose TT$40 filing charge differs from the older generic NPO page. Reconfirm at filing.

The tool covers new sole-trader and partnership business names, profit companies, non-profit companies and unincorporated NPOs. It does not select a legal structure, verify identity or determine eligibility. A checked item means you believe the evidence exists. It does not confirm acceptance by the Registry.
A name reservation and a certificate are different milestones. Plan for participant approvals, application review, signed documents and collection. Tax, employment, banking and sector permissions require separate checks.
