Custom Case Management Software
Keep matters, tasks, documents and client communication connected. We build case workspaces around your team structure and the records each engagement requires.
Organize work around the matter
A matter can contain several contacts, deadlines, documents and assigned specialists. We define its lifecycle from intake through review, work in progress and closure. Every change needs an identifiable owner.
The scope can include conflict review, approvals and restricted teams. Professional and jurisdiction specific rules are supplied and approved by the responsible reviewer.
Know which version was reviewed
Documents retain their version, author, date and related task. Approvals refer to the version reviewed. A later revision does not inherit approval automatically. Search respects the same permissions as the matter itself.
Retention, legal holds, export and deletion require a documented policy. Client uploads need format limits, checks and appropriate access controls.
Give clients the information they are entitled to see
A portal can show agreed progress, document requests and invoice history. Internal notes and restricted material remain outside the client view. A forwarded file address must still require authorized access.
Time records, expenses and billing can connect to the matter, with review before issue. We confirm the accounting destination and the treatment of customer funds separately.
Test deadlines, access and closure
Acceptance testing includes reassignment, an unavailable reviewer, an archived matter and a revoked client account. Deadline calculation rules require approved examples and exceptional dates.
This is a software development service. Legal decisions and statutory deadline rules remain under the designated professional review.
Project questions
Can this support a law office?
Yes. The specification must identify matter types, confidentiality boundaries, billing rules and the local professional requirements.
Can existing files and cases be imported?
We review sample exports and document relationships, agree the historic scope and reconcile the resulting records.
