Custom Client Portal Development
Give clients a place to follow their work, send documents and approve the next step. Your team sees the same project history and the actions still outstanding.
Define what each client can see
An organization may have several contacts with different responsibilities. We map access to the organization, project and document, including what happens when a person leaves or an engagement closes.
A client invitation needs an expiry, identity checks and a revocation path. Every download and direct document address must enforce the same access rules as the visible dashboard.
Bring the project conversation beside the work
A portal can show milestones, deliverables, requested documents, quotations, invoice balances and support requests. Comments belong to the relevant version or task so the history can be followed later.
Approval records identify the person, document version, time and decision. Revised work needs a fresh approval when the agreed process requires it. Internal notes remain restricted to the team.
Interactive example / sample records
One project, different views.
The client sees shared project records.
This illustration runs in your browser with fixed sample data. It has no live booking, document processing or customer account connection.
Plan the life of a document
The build covers upload limits, accepted formats, scanning arrangements, versions, retention and customer exports. Sensitive information needs the agreed storage region and access controls.
Connections to a project tool, accounting system or document platform start with record ownership. We define which application updates a milestone, where an invoice originates and how a rejected synchronization is reviewed.
Test the client journey from invitation to closure
Use example clients with different permissions. Test an expired invitation, a forwarded file address, a revoked user, an approval after a revision and an archived project. The handover includes account administration and recovery instructions.
Bring the questions clients ask repeatedly and the documents they exchange with your team. These provide the first screen requirements and the acceptance checklist.
Project questions
Can clients have their own branding or departments?
Yes. The scope can include organization branding, departments, contact roles and shared projects with explicit boundaries.
Can you build the portal in Notion?
We assess whether Notion permissions and the proposed workflow fit the requirement. A separate application may be needed for the chosen customer access model.
