Test a basket that looks like your shop

A useful retail test includes a scanned product, a variant, a promotion, an item removed from the basket and a customer who requests an invoice. Repeat it on the devices staff will actually use.

We define customer prices, discount approvals, gift balances, deposits and returns in the scope. Each action needs a consistent effect on the receipt, stock and ledger.

Keep the product identity intact

Clothing sizes, colour choices, electronics serials and multipacks need distinct rules. The catalogue owner controls which fields can change and which references must remain stable.

For example, a case of twelve sold as two individual units should leave ten units available. A return to another branch needs a traceable stock movement and an agreed refund route.

Retail reports can show margin by product, branch results, slow stock and purchasing needs. Costs and taxes need approved mappings before those reports are used to set prices.
