Match appointments to available resources

The booking design covers service duration, required staff, chairs or rooms and preparation time. Rescheduling must check all required resources again.

Define confirmation, arrival, completion, cancellation and waiting list states. Customer notices and deposit terms should reflect the state of the booking.

Carry the deposit into checkout

In an illustrative appointment with a 400 service and a 120 retail item, a confirmed 100 deposit leaves 420 before any additional applicable taxes. The original deposit stays linked to that customer bill.

Test rescheduling, a changed service price, cancellation and a permitted refund. Product stock moves when supplied. Materials consumed during a service need their own usage rule.

Track the balance of prepaid work

A package needs its funding invoice, included services, remaining sessions and expiry terms. Each completed appointment consumes the correct session once.

Gift balances, membership prices and staff commissions can be included after their terms and calculation rules are agreed. Refunds and corrections need to reverse the related commission or entitlement where appropriate.

Keep customer records appropriate to the work

We define which details staff need to deliver the service and which are restricted. Operational reminders and promotional messages require separate communication preferences.

The project includes a booking and checkout rehearsal, payment checks, product import and opening package balances. Existing appointment data is mapped before migration.
