Connect the message to the business action
Review what changed: the recipient, payment account, amount, timing or requested secrecy. Compare the request with approved supplier records and the normal process. Authentication findings provide context, but a compromised account may use ordinary mail infrastructure.
DSDillon’s private workspace keeps the analysis, reviewer notes and decision history together. A reviewed warning can be added to future checks with an expiry date.
Use a repeatable review
Assign responsibility for verifying supplier changes and for approving payment. Keep those steps documented. Staff should know how to escalate a questionable request without losing the original message.
- Hold the requested change while it is reviewed.
- Verify through a known contact outside the message.
- Record the evidence and approver.
- Preserve the case and report any incorrect classification.
Limits of automated checks
The advisor supports review; it cannot confirm bank account ownership or guarantee fraud detection. Missing data, a provider outage or a new technique may leave checks incomplete. The case records those gaps so the reviewer can decide what remains to be verified.

Will the advisor automatically delete messages?
No. The advisor records findings. Mail actions remain subject to the existing account permissions and explicit user action.
