What is processed
The checker processes the content and files you submit, extracted text, sender addresses, links, technical observations and your feedback. DSDillon can review cases to investigate concerns and correct results.
Storage and deletion
Public cases expire after 7 days. Owner cases expire after 90 days. Uploaded files are removed after processing. The case retains the findings and any extracted text shown in the report. Stored submission text and assessment results are encrypted. Completed public cases can be deleted from the result screen.
External checks
Domain names are used for DNS and registry lookups. A standalone website or URL check may contact that destination through the restricted analysis worker. Links extracted from private messages are not opened automatically. No external commercial threat feed is currently connected. Message bodies and uploaded files are processed on DSDillon’s server.
Access to your result
Your browser holds a private case token for the current session. Anyone you give that token to could access the case while it remains stored. Download a report if you need your own copy. The result itself is excluded from search indexing.
Usage controls
A daily salted hash of the connecting IP address is used to limit submissions. Rate limit records are removed after two hours. Normal hosting security logs are handled under DSDillon’s website privacy policy.
Before submitting
Remove passwords, one time codes, identity numbers, full card details and unrelated personal information. Submit only content you are entitled to share. For a privacy request, use DSDillon’s contact page and include the case reference without posting the private token.
