Match the message to an order
A real delivery update should be checked against the order and carrier you expect. Open the retailer’s account or the carrier’s official service independently. A delivery message arriving while you are expecting a parcel can still be unrelated.
A small redelivery fee can be used to collect card details. If a fee might be genuine, verify it through the carrier’s established process before entering payment information.
Read the destination
A carrier’s name in the message or in part of a URL does not establish that it owns the destination. Paste the full message into the checker to inspect the links and wording. Choose the website check separately if you want its public destination requested.
- Find the order through your usual shopping account.
- Compare the tracking reference and carrier.
- Check any fee through the official carrier route.
- Keep the message if you entered information.
If you entered card details
Contact your card issuer using its official app or the number on the card. Describe what you submitted and follow its instructions. The advisor can preserve findings from the message; it cannot stop a payment or secure the card.
Questions about this check
Does a tracking number make the text genuine?
Check that reference inside the retailer or carrier service you opened independently. A number appearing in a text can be copied or invented.
Can legitimate carriers charge fees?
Some deliveries involve genuine fees. Verify the specific request through the carrier’s official process.
